Elementary Cyber Planets • Cyber Planets are for students in grades 2-8. • Cyber Planets are housed in the secure online learning platform Web CT. • Cyber Planets are web based and can be accessed from any computer connected to the internet. • Cyber Planets are being used by classrooms teachers as an “Online Classroom”.
Elementary Cyber Planets • The Cyber Planets house a multitude educational web sites and activities both specific to grade and subject area. • Cyber Planets let students explore educational activities to aid in their knowledge development. • Cyber Planets also include the Elementary Technology and Mathematics resources that have been developed by Cyber School Educators. SCCS Cyber Planets, where the even the sky is not a limit!

What Are SCS Learning Communities • Learning Communities are places where educators can gather to share information, ideas, units, web sites , etc… • Learning Communities cater to different groups. (i.e. Principals, L.A.T’s, Grade 2 Teachers, Secondary Science Teachers) • SCS Learning Communities are open to anyone who wishes to register. There are certain exceptions to this rule (i.e. Principal LC) • The sky is the limit. SCCS will develop a LC for any group who wishes to have a secure area to communicate
Association of Online K-12 Schools • The Goal of AOK12S is to develop interest, participation and cooperation in a sharing environment with the online K-12 school worldwide community. • Currently 90 members • Members from 4 continents • Free access to all SCCS Learning Communities
Soccer Academy The academy concept allows high school students to integrate, within their regular school day, intensive study of a sport, skill or area of interest that is particularly engaging for them. Duration of program: • Girls: 5 months • Boys: 5 months The day consists of - ½ in school instruction - ½ soccer instruction
