  2. What Makes Sounds Vibrating- a back- and- forth motion Sound Waves-A vibration that spreads away from a vibrating object

  3. How Sound is Produced By strings When you pluck a shorter guitar string it will make a pitchy sound and if you pluck a long string it makes a lower sound. There are thicker strings and thinner strings if you pluck them they will make a different sound.

  4. What makes sounds Compression- The part of the sound wave where molecules are crowded together Rarefaction- The part of the sound wave where molecules are spread apart
