User Roles in iNEIS • User Roles • To open up Access to system functions • One User Role will give access to a group of Functions • Users who are given a certain User Role will be granted access to functions under this role. • Unless Role is granted, access to these functions is closed. • Access to Student Particular data • Access to Student Academic data • Access to Student Disciplinary data • Create Incident Log • Update Verdict / Action • Access to Student Allowance: • Create application • Approve application

Assigning User Roles • One User Role should be assigned to more than one Staff for backup purpose. • If a Staff is on long leave, the other should have that role to cover his/her duty. • One Staff may have more than one User Roles • A teacher can be a Class Teacher and Subject Teacher and CCA Teacher and School Cashier. Prepare for iNEIS iNEIS benefits: • Much less time and effort required in preparing report & data submission to MOE • More timely and better visibility of school data: attendance, assessment, CCA, awards, discipline, billing and collection • With timely data, you move your school & staff to be proactive rather than reactive • iNEIS data is critical for MOE for reporting and analysis
