Threats to Branchands Business • Internal • Reliance on small customer base (ie MOD Facilities Companies) • Poor motivation of some individuals. • External • Sub Contractors not supplying the required service as originally specified • Changes of Customers/Clients Management Personnel • Changes to Facility Management Companies on Sites. • Competitors Under Pricing • Clients Expectations

  11. The Future of Branchand • Branchand has an excellent track record, and has been well trusted & respected within the Fuel Industry in the past, and there is no reason to doubt that this will continue. • Branchand are however, reliant on a small core of Sub Contractors, which at times leaves us exposed, we rely on them to get works done quickly and efficiently. This is not always satisfactory as they are often working to different agendas, timescales. • Moving forward, All Branchand staff need to update their training, and learn new skills. This would negate the requirement to use some sub-contractors. this would enable us to do a lot of the work in house that currently undertaken by sub contractors and make us more competitive in an ever more turbulent market. • We also need to be more proactive in seeking out new customers, in different fields, and informing our other customers, who may not yet be aware of all of our skills and capabilities. • By extending our customer base, we will be less reliant on a small core of customers. This would pay dividends in the end, helping us to maximise our work load and organise our labour more efficiently. • This would in the end have a positive effect on the profitability of our business.
