Warm – Up: “Africa, Asia, and Australia” Read p. 360 “Analyzing Primary Sources”. “Why do you think Gandhi came to his conclusion reluctantly?” Use RACE (3-4).

  2. Seminar Question Discuss in your group. Every person must answer. • When Gandhi spoke to the crowd about General Smuts’ new law, they became angry and wanted to retaliate (strike back). How did Gandhi respond? What do you think was the motivation behind his message? Explain.
