  1. ISTANBUL MEDIPOL UNIVERSITY PREPARATION STUDENTS’ DEVELOPMENT CHART

FOREWORD • Inthischartwewilltrytoexplainwhatwearegoingtoteachthestudentsduringthepreparatoryyear, in ordertohavestudentstogetreadytopursuetheirfollowingstudies in therespectivedepartmentssuccessfully. Inotherwordsthischartwilldemonstratethelevel of thestudents at thebeginning of thepreparatoryyear as well as thelevelanyaveragestudent is supposedto be at theend of thepreparatoryyear.

  3. At the beginning of the academic year we expect to start with students of two levels: A1 and A2 students according to CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ). Similarly we expect the student starting Preparatory School at level A1 by the end of the year to finish successfully level C1 and the students starting Preparatory School at level A2 by the end of the year to finish successfully level C2.

  5. FOR A1 STARTERS OF THE PROGRAM After ten weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be A2.

  6. After eight weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be B1.

  7. After three weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be B2.

  8. After three weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be C1.

  9. Three weeks of education for the designated level.

  10. A2 STARTERS

  11. FOR A2 STARTERS OF THE PREPARATORY PROGRAM After seven weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be B1.

  12. After seven weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be B2.

  13. After three weeks of education in Preparatory School they will be C1.

  14. After seven weeks of education they will be C2.

  15. Three weeks of education for the designated level.
