SETTING: I was in my room. EMOTION: I was anxious. I anxiously sat at the window in my room, gazed out, and observed as the sun slowly faded in the sky. Across the hallway, a bright, pink polka-dotted basinet waited for the new arrival. At the passing of each car, my heart skipped a beat.“I wonder what she will be like,” I thought to myself.A smile crossed my face as I imagined finally meeting her; however, I knew things would change.
