One of the most typical styles that captures the era is the "Florentine" hat. • "Real" fur wraps and floral print dresses were very popular in the 1930s. • Jockey briefs were so popular that over 30,000 pairs were sold within three months of their introduction. Cooper's renamed their company to Jockey as know it today. • The Women's League of Health and Beauty was a major movement in the 1930's in the UK and the USA that led to more acceptable, more modern fashion and cosmetic practices.
