OUR EXPERIENCE OF USING WORDPRESS AND SUPPORT • After investigating wordpress.com we decided to use wordpress.org as wanted more flexibility. • Lots of support – Youtube – Wordpress blog • We used Thesis Theme. • Formatting was a problem for us • Regular use and notes • buddy up if possible
DOES OUR VILLAGE ENGAGE WITH THE WEBSITE • Facebook • Twitter • Conclusion
WHAT’S NEXT ? • Adding comments to the blog pages. • Improved use of Facebook and Twitter – Looking at social plugins RSS feeds. • Investigate present plugins and make sure we are using them fully. • A plan to encourage people to interact more with the website. Getting out to groups, trying to get the younger people in the village involved.
