A little history • Creation: regional council June 2013 Stockholm Prepared by taskforce • First election: 14/10/ 2013 • Declared elected: Shonina, Tove* and André • * Tove: couldn’t attend the whole regional council Proposal replacement by Agniezska (according to the internal regulations a delegate from the regional council can be proposed).

Task • As independent body • 1. ensure transparent and democratic elections (according to the internal regulations); guide the elections procedure during the regional council • 2. stimulate candidates according to regional variation, professional occupation…. • How we worked • By Skype-meetings, email, … • In consensus • Reporting to MA’s en RO/REC

  5. Results • On the whole: good mix of candidates from most regions, • REC: good mix of candidates from most regions • Global Council: first time three candidates • Audit-committee: almost two • Honorary functions: one candidate for each function

  6. Transparent, democratic elections, according internal regulations • According to internal regulations • Some inconsistencies: vote by acclamation, not mentioned in regulations, becomes declared elected if there is only one candidate = change formulation in agenda
