  2. Current Status FY 2004 • We remain under a continuing resolution (CR), currently through 10/31/03. • H.J. Res. 73 would extend the continuing resolution through 11/7/03. • The FAA reauthorization bill has not been passed.

  5. Appropriation Status • ARA Operations – both the House and Senate have recommended funding at the requested level. • Requested level is before any assessments. • Status of Tech Center RE&D and F&E line items:

Activity 6, PCB&T Appropriation • FY 2004 outlook for Activity 6: • Agency hiring freeze and spending restrictions continue. • On-board employment will be the basis for the allocation. • Current vacancies will not be filled; ACT 9/30/03 vacancies: 11. • Travel will be reduced to a lower level than FY 2003.
