Patient in OR Sealed envelope opened for randomization Sternotomy Measure Length of ITA # 1 Measure In-situ Doppler flow in ITA # 1 Harvest ITA # 1 up to bifurcation Measure Length of ITA # 2 Harvest ITA # 2 up to bifurcation Measure In-situ Doppler flow in ITA # 2 Heparin Divide both ITAs at bifurcation and measure direct flow in both ITAs Apply topical papaverine (5 – 10 minutes) and measure direct flow Coronary anastomoses Measure post-anastomotic Doppler flow in both ITAs
