  2. Family Invitation Dear Families, Please mark your calendars! What: Family Night Where: Gordon Elementary School, your child’s classroom When: Thursday September 14, 2013 at 5:30pm Why: To work together with your child to complete a family writing activity. The children have been brainstorming and discussing having families come into the classroom. We have decided that we would like to have a family event that incorporates the children’s writing skills so they can show off their writing. Their writing samples will be posted around the classroom for you to observe and then we will take about twenty minutes for you and your child to complete a writing activity. The children are looking forward to having their families and come work together with them! Please RSVP to your child’s teacher by Friday September 8, 2013. Sincerely, All of the Elementary Teachers
