Emergency Communications 7 days/week 24 hours/day 365 days/year Information you will need to provide: Soldier’s Full Name, Rank and Date of Birth Soldier’s Social Security Number Information about the Soldier’s Deployment Unit and the Home Base Unit Soldier’s Branch of Service and Last Known Military Address

  4. American Red Cross Notifications • Circumstances • Serious Illness • Birth • Death • Other Family Emergencies • Immediate Family • Spouse/Children • Grandparents • Parents • Siblings • Others with established relationship

  5. Financial Assistance WHAT : WHO : HOW : Urgent Financial Situation Family members with Military ID, POA and documents supporting financial assistance need The American Red Cross coordinates with Military Aid Societies for financial assistance with Interest Free Loans or Grants

  6. Your Local Red Cross can also provide: Confidential Counseling Representation at Bureau of Veterans Affairs Referrals to local assistance agencies CPR and Disaster Preparedness training courses Volunteer opportunities in Blood Services and Disaster Relief Operations
