Tayfun Topkoc SAP-Embracing the Cloud

Former Managing Director Tayfun Topkoc SAP stated that, another part of Bee’ah’s strategy is to govern data and build a real time enterprise. Bee’ah’s Project Synergy team is ensuring that the group’s data is collected, managed, governed and analyzed effectively by migrating their data to a new SAP HANA database system. Tayfun Topkoc said it is the first in UAE to be hosted on Azure, Microsoft’s cloud platform. According to Tayfun Topkoc this migration to the cloud provides the business with integrated and intelligent data structure which is more cost effective and has more architecture flexibility.

  2. Former Managing Director TayfunTopkoc SAP stated that, another part of Bee’ah’s strategy is to govern data and build a real time enterprise. Bee’ah’s Project Synergy team is ensuring that the group’s data is collected, managed, governed and analyzed effectively by migrating their data to a new SAP HANA database system. TayfunTopkoc said it is the first in UAE to be hosted on Azure, Microsoft’s cloud platform. This migration has also laid the foundation for the Project Synergy team to upgrade Bee’ah’s SAP ERP (enterprise resource planning) version to EhP8, which is the latest enhancement package for the SAP software. TayfunTopkoc said this will enable Bee’ah to execute several new innovative functions, including enhanced user experience, enhanced data protection, and additional functionality in business modules such as finance management, human capital management, logistics management, and analytics reporting.
