  2. Justin, Brent, Zach, Allie, and I set out in early May. Neff’s Canyon 4,177 ft. elevation gain from trailhead to peak. Estimated 4-6 hours out and back, covering about 6.7 miles. Departed up the trail at 9:30 am Chose the north face to avoid people, and challenge ourselves. Mt.Olympus, Ut

  3. Olympus in winter Found the crevice at 11:00 am. Zach was first, followed by Brent, then me, then Ally, and finally Justin. Climbed around 1,200 ft. until the overhang. Made the call to 911 at about 12:00pm. North and South Peaks of Olympus

  4. Sheriff’s office begins search effort at about 2:00 pm. We were found using Infrared on the Highway Patrol helicopter just before night fall at about 7:00 pm. Helicopter drops 2 duffle bags of Nutri-Grain bars and water and blankets, one fell down the cliff, other received. Lots of large black ants crawling everywhere throughout the night. Rescuers’ camped 1,200 ft. below our position. SAR checking our vitals
