  3. Media Institutions that might distribute my media product 20th century fox have distributed a lot of horror movies for example “Hide and Seek” and “Alien”. Horror films provide different things for their audiences , they give a sense of thrill and excitement and also give the audience a sense of mystery what’s happening and why is it happening. Horrors are like murder mysteries they include the element of “Whodunit” and leave the audience guessing. 20th century fox might distribute my film because it’s a murder mystery and I think it will appeal to foxes audience. Universal Studios have distributed a lot of horror / mystery movies for example psycho. Universal Studios might want to distribute my film because it's appealing to their demographic. Warner Bros Pictures have distributed films that fit in with my genre for example Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes is a murder mystery and so is my film “Dark Intentions” Warner Bros might want to distribute my film because it will appeal to their audiences because they have had a film similar to it , so they know that it will appeal to the demographic.
