Beginning or End? • Prefix Pre = before The root would be found at the beginning of a word • Suffix • Affix = join to The root would be joined to the end of the word or joined to the prefix and followed by yet another suffix
Greek • Photos = Light • Photograph – picture drawn by light • Telephoto – light from far away Find two more words with photo as a prefix or suffix
