VIV Root Words 1. Survive- to live through Example: The hiker survived the avalanche by digging a small breathing hole in the snow. 2. Revive- to bring back to life Example: Doctors use various modern techniques to revive patients whose hearts have stopped. 3.Vivid- lifelike Example: The memory of the carnival was still vivid in Sarah’s mind months later. 4. Vivacious- lively in temper or spirit/ full of life • Example: The vivacious girls were always so excited to be together.
MORT/MOR Root Words 5. Mortal- will eventually die Example: Even though there are many Elvis Presley impersonators, he was still mortal. 6.
