About Ellen von Unwerth • Born 1954 in Frankfurt, Germany, she’s a photographer and director. • Specializing in erotic femininity. • In 1956, She is orphaned spent part of her upbringing in foster care in Bavaria. • She worked as a fashion model for ten years herself before moving behind the camera. • She started publishing books from 1994 up until now.

More About Ellen Von Unwerth • She makes fashion, editorial, and advertising photographs • Her work has been published in top magazines like Vogue, Vanity Fair, Interview, The Face, Arena, Twill, L'Uomo Vogue and I-D. • Over the past 20 or so years, the German-born model-turned-photographer has worked with numerous celebrities, from Claudia Schiffer to Beyonce. • Won first prize at the International Festival of Fashion Photography in 1991.
