  5. What • Two Japanese Bombs • Dropped out of Japanese Aircrafts • One hit #4 gun turret • Second hit between #1 & #2 gun turrets

  6. How • First hit Ammunition magazines • Made small fire • Fire was put out • Second hit the right deck & crashed through 3 decks • Made Huge fire • water seeped in • Ship sank in 9 minutes

  7. Deaths • 1,102 people killed • At least 900 people remain in boat • Many people tried to get bodies off • Few bodies were found

  8. Hero • Lieutenant Commander Samuel G. Fugua • Awarded with medal of honor • Lead people to safety

  9. Memorial • Located at pearl Harbor • Over the remaining Hull of the U.S.S. Arizona • In Honolulu, Hawaii • Bodies are still there
