Mission Statement: All students will improve their individual character development and citizenship. Positive character qualities are defined as leadership, respect, integrity, generosity, responsibility, dependability. * *words chosen by LCHS community survey, May 2009.

What can I, as part of the LC staff do? • Be aware of and support the program and activities. • Provide input to team of what may be improved. • Be a model to demonstrate respect, integrity, responsibility, dependability, generosity, and leadership. • Find ways to incorporate the above 6 concepts into lesson plans • Provide opportunities for students to practice the qualities themselves • Acknowledge and praise students who demonstrate the above 6 qualities
