Aspen undertook a review of all children's services offered within the organisation, including safeguarding Aspen designed a safeguarding flowchart for use in all departments to ensure any safeguarding issues were escalated in a timely fashion Secured an E learning safeguarding package through Skills for Health aimed at Level 1 and 2 training Reviewed our recruitment policies to ensure Disclosure and Barring updates in place Designed a safeguarding plan which is updated quarterly Reviewed all safeguarding policies New Clinical Director in place who is responsible for safeguarding and reports directly to Aspen Board Achievements 2012/2013
Implement E Learning packages for all staff Ensure all Aspen facilities have engagement with their LSCB and the Lead for each site has safeguarding supervision Design and implement a Feedback Questionnaire for older children Review and implement actions from the children's services review Update safeguarding plan quarterly – this plan feeds into the board Priorities for 2014
