Assessment Planning 2012! Final Plan Ready for Board Approval May 2 (REVISED)

Today’s Assessment Planning Objectives: • Develop shared understanding of the proposed plan—its components and contributing factors/initiatives • Provide valuable input regarding aspects of the plan that remain in development • Understand next steps and your role as a building representative regarding communication and feedback gathering from teachers and other administrators in your building Assessment Planning 2012-13

TLA Curriculum Coordinators will continue discussion tomorrow (March 14, 2012) regarding recommendations for district (benchmark) assessments • Based upon that discussion and input from today, tools will be prepared and posted for your use with your building teams to gather input (Google doc): • Guiding Principles/Roles & Responsibilities • Summary/talking points of factors and considerations along with supporting documents • Three-year plan • Elementary, middle school, and high school plans with proposed testing windows • Other items?
