  5. Teach for learning. • What do you want your students to know? • What do you want your students to understand? • What will your students be able to do with their knowledge at the end of the course?

  7. Recognize your domains of influence. • Curriculum • Classroom environment • Activities • Homework Assignments • Feedback and Evaluation • Rules • Modeling

  8. Engage in the Art of Getting What You Want • Experiment. • Gather feedback. • Adjust accordingly.
