About Tralee • Tralee (or “Trá Lí” in gaelic, Strand of the River Lee), a town with a population of 22,714 (in 2006), is the capital of County Kerry and Ireland’s 7th largest town.. • Tralee is home to the world-famous Rose of Tralee International Festival (mid August), one of Ireland’s longest-running festival. • Tralee has two fully serviced industrial estates at Clash and Monavalley and is home to Kerry Technology Park adjoining ITTralee at Dromtacker.
