  4. Work package summary of progress towards objectives In WP4, thepreparationsfortheBrokerage Events (BE)inNovember 2014 inUkrainehasbeenstarted. Theeventwillbeorganizedwithinthecontextofthe VII. InternationalTradeFair “EnergyEfficiency - RenewableEnergy 2014”. The BE consistsof a seriesofbilateralmeetings, lastingapproximately 30 minuteseach, structuredaccordingtoanagendacreatedonthebasisoftheinterestshownforthevariousresearchandinnovationcooperationoffers. Theeventwillcompriseapproximately40-50 participantsfrom EU MemberStatesandEasternPartnershipCountries. ThetoolfororganizingTechnologyOffersandRequests (D4.4 and D4.5) inthecourseoftheeventhasalreadybeenidentified.

The planned activities in WP4: Concept for D4.1 D4.1 Business Plans (Total 6): Belarus 2 (Leader: SEZ/SIG, Support: BSATU), Georgia 2 (Leader: SUA, Support: GTU), Ukraine 2 (Leader: IPA, Support: PEWI) Task leader: SUA (SLOVAK UNIVERSITY of Agriculture IN NITRA) Start month: 13 (09.2014) End month: 30 (02.2016) The first draft on 12.2014 The second draft on 12.2015 The final version on 02.2016 Manuals for implementation D4.1: D2.4 – “HANDBOOK / BUSINESS PLAN IN INNOVATION ENVIRONMENT” .This handbook was prepared by the SUA in Nitra. The overall aim of the manual is to prepare a handbook regarding of how to prepare and how to put into action a Business Plan in Innovation Environment. The document will help stakeholders to understand not only the importance of a properly prepared business plan but also the issues generated by mistakes and omissions, when starting a project, no matter of the nature (research or industry).

The planned activities in WP4: Concept for D4.1 Questions: • Which entities (SMEs, R&D organizations, state or private enterprises) we must help prepared a business plan? • For whom (what investors (organizations) we prepare a business plan? • In what language (English, Russian etc.)? • What software we must use for preparing business plan (Comfar III Expert, Project Expert, Business Plan Pro, Business Plan Writer, Deutsche Bank Software etc.)? • Theme of business plans (development of the entities, organization of the production of a new product, the use of energy-saving technologies etc.)?
