BCDE – Product in a Nut Shell A revolutionary method for purifying wastewater • State of the art technology: • Takes any wastewater regardless of the pollutant level and produces clean, potable water andeliminates sludge. Toxic waste into drinking water • Has the potential to solve the problem of purifying water in numerous applications from municipal wastewater purification to seawater desalination. The World Bank estimates that by 2025 1.4 billion people in 48 countries may experience water stress or scarcity. The UN estimates that 1.8 billion people have critically limited access to fresh water today and that 5.3 billion will be in a similar situation by 2050. Page 2

BCDE – IPR Protection BCDE Method has been protected with a number of international patent families such as but not limited to: PCT/FI2010/050647, PCT/FI2010/050631, PCT/FI2010/050632, • International patent protection covers • - BCDE method • - Main equipments • - Industrial application areas, • (such as CN102612578A) The ECO-H2O® water purifier BCDE Group’s extensive patent protection, together with proprietary know-how accumulated during the past 20 years, give a solid foundation for a sustainable competitive advantage. BCDE – Equipment The Same MST Equipment, no matter which application No matter the application, the BCDE instrument is reliable, compact and robust. The basic operating unit of the instrument consists of two concentric pipes (one made of iron and one of an inert noble metal), a couple of pumps, some electronics and some software. Due to the same basic unit and the modular structure it can easily be multiplied to cover the need of one household, a multi store building, a metropolitan area, any mining operations or modern pulp and paper mill Page 6
BCDE – Unique Method BCDE Water Purifier is based on: An IONIC anda MOLECULAR SIEVE SEPARATION of impurities with the most stableelementary isotope in the universe, Iron (Fe 56) and dissociation ofthe most dependable molecule of life, Water (H2O). Unique solution for the most serious global problem – lack of pure water Ferric Hydroxide ions create a 3-dimensional molecular network or a sieve, that allows pure water molecules to pass through, whilst all other ions, molecules, viruses and bacteria are trapped and separated into the network or “floc” Impurities/ions/bacteria All impurities are larger than water molecules and are hence trapped into the sieve. Small amounts of generated hydrogen gas (H2)lifts the network continuously to the surface “Ferric Hydroxide Molecular sieve” Small openings that allow water molecules to pass through Page 7

BCDE – Numerous Application Areas The BCDE technology can easily be adapted to cover the needs of water purification in several different areas due its versatility. Examples: • Pulp and paper – closed water circuit and recovery of heat without water effluent • Municipal wastewater – elimination of N, P, BOD, bacteria, viruses, hormones and MEDICINES • Landfill – elimination of heavy metals and toxic organic chemicals, such as PAH • Agriculture – converts manure into pure irrigation water and natural fertilizer • Food industry – separation of valuable ingredients, desalination of dairy waste • Pharmaceutical industry – elimination of toxic side products from effluent water • Mining – separation of sulphates as solid powder, elimination of cyanides, recovery of radioisotopes and enrichment of valuable minerals • Oil and gas – purification and recycling of produced water, yield improvement • Power plants – cleaning of wash down water of mercury (Hg) and arsenic (As) • Marine and dismantling – purification of ballast water and toxic waste water Page 12
