Resident Students Resident students are placed at their school of residence, if they indicate it as their top preference. After placing residents, remaining spaces are allocated to non-resident students, based on a random lottery selection process. If all of the school choices are full, then the student is placed at the Middle School Of Residence (MSOR).
Non-Resident Students All Placements of Non-Resident Students are Tentative. • New LBUSD resident students have priority to enroll at their school of residence. • Placements of non-resident students are tentative up to the end of the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
GATE-Identified Students • Placement is guaranteed in a GATE program in LBUSD • Placement at a specific site is NOT guaranteed • Placement Criteria: • Resident students • Sibling consideration • Non-residents
Transportation No district transportation will be provided to students who choose to attend any school in or outside of their residential boundary.
