Introduction This software is designed to communicate vehicle controllers that adhere to the following Heavy Duty Standard Protocols: SAE J1587/ 1708 SAE J1962 SAE J1939 / CAN Protocol: A set of rules by which electronic modules communicate The protocols listed are non-proprietary Depending on the year and manufacturer of the truck or equipment, one or none of these protocols may be used The software is designed to automatically search for modules that use these protocols Once connected to a module, data display, read codes and clear codes are possible
