  2. A partir de 1900 participa activamente a la vida artística parisina. Albert Gleizes enseña su trabajo en exposiciones colectivas, se involucra en la creación de nuevos salones (Salón de Otoño, de Las Tullerías). Tras practicar una pintura de inspiración impresionista fue uno de los primeros artistas que se unieron bajo la bandera del cubismo. • En 1911, junto con Robert Delaunay, Le Fauconnier, Léger, Metzinger, expone con los artistas del Salón de Los Independientes, en la sala 41, que consagra el movimiento cubista.
