  2. These are characters that stay the same. They do not learn valuable lessons! For example: Static Characters The Wicked Witch stays wicked from the beginning to the end!

  3. Dynamic characters are characters who change in a story. They learn a valuable lesson and grow as people! For example: Dynamic Characters Dorothy wants to go places and do things away from her home and family. After her experience in OZ, she has one wish, “There’s no place like home.”

  4. Think about the character at the beginning and at the end of the story…..ask yourself if they changed by learning a lesson. YES=dynamic NO=static Make the decision….

  13. A dynamic character experiences something that makes them “change!” A static character stays the same….. Add happy feet of finding nemo /remember…..
