Case study: e-ILP • Pilot at Redbridge College – initial specification • Moodle plugin based on initial ideas from Barking College • Specification extended with knowledge of ULCC customer base • Further development funded by other customers • Community release – 3rd most popular Moodle package • Continuous improvement and extension of scope

  7. Case study: VLE, Repository and e-portfolio • Common environment – LAMP, single sign on • Use of appropriate application for each task • Interworking through open standards and APIs • Cross fertilisation between domains of expertise
