Email Guide. This is a guide for the employees of Venture Clothing, I will show them a step by step guide on how to complete four basic tasks using our email system. Jordan Hindle. Attachments. Through these next few slides I will show you what and how to use an attachment.

  1. Email Guide This is a guide for the employees of Venture Clothing, I will show them a step by step guide on how to complete four basic tasks using our email system. Jordan Hindle

  2. Attachments • Through these next few slides I will show you what and how to use an attachment.

  3. This is the attachment button.

  4. Clicking this will send you into your computer files so you can pick out the right one you want to attach to your email.

  5. As you can see, once you attach a file it will show up on this bar, this tells you that it will be attached to the email you send.

  6. Setting Priorities • With these slides I will show you how to set priorities for your email.

  7. This is how you set your email to low importance. This is how you set your email to high importance.

  8. High Importance • Setting an email to high importance means that the email will be marked important, this will put a red flag beside the email so the person you emailed to can see it.

  9. Low Importance • Setting an email to low importance means that the email will be marked as not important, this will not put a flag next to an email to show it isn’t important.

  10. Auto Signatures • In these next slides I will show you how to set up and use an auto signature.

  11. To set an auto signature you need to go into options.

  12. Setting an auto signature Here you can set up your own signature for your emails.

  13. You can click this to add the signature you made to your email. Once you click “add signature” the signature you made will appear on your email.

  14. Managing Folders • With these next slides I will show you how to set up folders for different emails.

  15. In this example I will use inbox.

  16. You need to right click on Inbox then you need to click “create new folder”.

  17. After you click “create new folder” this little folder with a bar next to it will appear, you can type whatever you want to call your new folder in here.
