OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY • Occupational therapy focuses on increasing a child’s participation in activities of daily living (feeding, dressing, toileting) and school performance.Your child may benefit from Occupational Therapy if he/she has: • Limited diet, refuses to eat most foods • Difficulty dressing independently • intolerance to textures/loud sounds/movement • Delayed handwriting and fine motor skills • Difficulty using two hands together • Visual scanning/tracking deficits

PHYSICAL THERAPY • Physical therapy aims at improving gross-motor, balance, and mobility to increase independence in functional activities.Your child may benefit from Physical Therapy if he/she has: • Delayed crawling/walking • Persistent toe-walking habits • Poor unsupported sitting/standing balance • Trouble learning how to jump. skip, ride a bike • Decreased ability to throw and catch a ball • Need for wheelchair mobility training
