  5. Housing: Nomadic campsites (moved every few weeks) Food Sources: Fishing from Gulf of Mexico & rivers, hunting animals, & gathering fruits & herbs. Daily life: Matrilineal; women took care of the campsite; men hunted. Made dugout canoes. Religions & customs: Had many Gods; Shamans were important for religious ceremonies. Gulf Culture
