  2. Basic Rules • Each swing counts as a stroke • You must hit the ball where it lies • The lowest number of strokes wins • You must hit the ball using the front side of the club

  3. Strategies • Aim for the fairway • Avoid the water and sand hazards and trees • The closer to the green you get, the higher number club you want to use • Swing nice and smooth

  4. Things to Know • Do not walk or talk when somebody is swinging • Do not use anything but a putter on the green • Always rake the sand trap • Replace your divots • Let faster players play through • Yell “FORE” if your ball is going towards somebody
