    A nationwide survey examining the civic, political and economic participation of Libyan women and exploring public attitudes toward women’s roles, rights and domestic violence December 2012 - January 2013
  2. Survey Overview Goal Evaluate status of women in Libya in four main areas: political and civic participation; economic participation; social autonomy; access to health care. Elicit opinions toward women’s rights; violence against women; role of women in society. Sample Design Sample size: 1,489 womenand 493 men = 1,982 respondents (adults 18 years +). Margin of error: ± 2.54% for the women’s sample; ± 4.41% for the men’s sample. Nationally representative, covering Libya’s 22 administrative regions using probability proportionate to size sampling techniques.
