Weekly Agenda • TODAY- Organizing Worksheet, Candy Activity, , “How To Organize” Play, Organizing Freaks of the Month will be chosen , Treasure Box Organization w/prizes, Cr8iv Moment, Organizing Time, Project Time(if any time is left! ) • TUESDAY- Organizing Time, Cr8iv Moment, Drawing Worksheet, and Definite Project Time! • WEDNESDAY: Same schedule as yesterday(Tuesday) • THURSDAY- Same schedule as yesterday(Wednesday) • FRIDAY- Full Time Project Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Today is Teacher’s Day!So…Let Me Tell You Some Things about Me! I Love my Dogs, Misty and Trevor! I Love My Family! WAIT!!! She’s an Organizing Teacher, Cello Co-Teacher, Brain Surgeon at Bio Medical AND the Head Meteorologist at CNN? She is one busy girl!

  4. Questions, anyone? MS. Veda, WHEN do we get definite project time? I’m confused!

  5. Corny Joke of the Day! WHAT WAS THE ORCHESTRA SYMPHONY RATED??? It was Rated R for violins(get it, VIOLENCE!) You are SO funny Ms. Veda!

Some Things You Might Want To Bring in Tomorrow 4 Your Projects! • Tri-fold(if you’re doing the game board) • Flash-Drive(if you’re making a digital organizing game on the computer, or a magazine or storybook on a school computer) • Printed out Magazine Template or Publisher Template(if you’re doing the teen/children’s organizing magazine by hand) • Blank PowerPoint slides(if you’re doing the children’s how-to guide by hand )

A Little Worksheet… • You are about to receive a super-easy worksheet • The only reason you are doing this is because I need some more grades to be entered in the grade book • I will give you 5 minutes to complete this, it is really easy!  • Please complete this in pencil, I don’t care what type of pencil it is • Anyone who completes this in pen, will get 30 points off. 

Candy Activity!!! • You might have been wondering why a bag of candy was sitting on every one of your desks • We are about to organize the candy!!! • If the activity gets finished quickly and smoothly, you will be allowed to eat 3, and only 3 pieces of candy!  • HOW DO I KNOW THAT YOU ATE ONLY 3? • Well, I originally put 18 pieces of candy in each bag. I have 6 classes every day, so if everybody ate the correct amount of candy in this period, then there would be 12 pieces of candy left in each bag! 

  10. I’m such a math whiz!!! OMG! The filaments in this light bulb are of the exact same solution of a pectoris….blah

  11. Anyway…on with the activity!!! • Your job is to organize the candy in the most efficient way possible! • This may be by color, size, brand, WHATEVER! • Once again, if this activity gets finished quickly & smoothly, you will be able to eat 3 pcs. of your candy! • I will pick 3 people who have done it the best • Those winners will not only get to eat their 3 pieces of candy, but will also get some index dividers so they can be sure they’ll stay organized!

Plays are fun!!! • You are about to receive a play packet with the title heading, “HOW TO ORGANIZE!” • These packets are NOT for you to keep, you must return them to me after we are done with the play-like type of thingy • You may not write or do anything that makes a MARK on these precious papers of mine. • I will call out who will be whom, you cannot choose who you want to be because I’m just evil like that. 

  17. Treasure Box Organization! • Hey guys! We are about to do something very, very fun! • I call it Treasure Box Organization! • It’s where we organize the treasure box!(kinda says it in the name!) • You are already organized into teams. You have no choice! In my room, when it comes to fun games, I’m the dictator! • You will organize the messy treasure box so it looks nice & neat • Please give everyone a turn & work together!!!

  18. Cr8iv Moment! • Our Cr8iv Moment will be 5 minutes because I wanted it to be 5 minutes!!! • Please shut your eyelids NOW! • Think about something you want to be when you grow up, whether it’s an architect, construction worker, teacher, musician or some wacky job.  • THINK NOW!!!

Organizing Time!!! • Please get out your binders or folders now.  • Start organizing wherever it is necessary • Organizing Freaks of the Month, you can go and “chill”(which means, in teacher code, read a book or just sit there), in the Corner of Awesomeness • I’ll be sitting here, dreaming away or organizing(probably that), if you have any questions

Before We Start Project Time… • If you have NOT started on your project, please be honest, and raise your hand • Those who have NOT started on their project, or are stuck on a part, go get a laptop, go to my website(you should know how to access it already), click on CLASS POWERPOINTS, and click on Organizing Day 4, and there are a bunch of helpful hints on slide 5 to get you started • The rest of you, you may continue with your projects, if you need a laptop, ask me first, and if the reply is a YES, you may proceed to the laptop cart. Same thing with printing

An O.N.N Report!!! • The Organizing Street Journal will end on January 15th, 2011 • Projects are due this Friday, end of period! • Rubric MUST be attached!!! • 10 points will be taken off everyday that it is late. This includes weekends! • Organizing retests are this Thursday! • You must bring your organizing study packet, binder, and retest form • Organizing packets & Retest forms are on my website P.S. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is on ABC tonight! Watch it(with proof provided), and I’ll give you 20 points on your project right off the bat!

  23. Project Time!!! • You may now continue working on your projects • If you borrow craft tools, you MUST return them to me! I have eyes like a hawk anyway! • PLEASE, OH PLEASE!!! Clean up your mess. Your mom might be your maid, I on the other hand, am not! • LEAVE YOUR ARE A MESS, AND I WILL LITERALLY TRACK YOU DOWN AND MAKE YOU PERFORM SCHOOL SERVICES FOR A ENTIRE MONTH FOR LITTERING MY ROOM WITH WORTHLESS TRASH!
