Facility Minimum Requirements Voice, Video, Data Medical Data Connection to state designated health information exchange • Open Standards based voice, video and data conferencing equipment (H.264, H.323, T.140, SIP, etc) • Minimum bandwidth requirements per medical association telemedicine standards. Examples: • 768kbps bandwidth for hospital to hospital neurology • 384kbps for rural clinic telepsychiatry • Ports Open in Firewall • Warranty and Maintenance Plan (to ensure it has the latest software) • Successful interoperability testing • Secure, encrypted transport (e.g. VPN connection) or secure, encrypted session (e.g. AES encrypted, secure endpoints)
