Lync Hosting Pack • Scheduled for release in Dec 2011 • Software and documentation to natively deploy Lync in a multi-tenant architecture • Feature set: • IM/Presence • Conferencing • Dial-in conferencing via bridging with 3rd party ACP • Lync extensions to provision ACP DID’s and passcodes • Basic Enterprise Voice • Code base identical to Office 365 • Positioning: • Targeted at customers seeking to overlay their PBX with Unified Communications and Conferencing • Hosters seeking to migrate from HMC to latest-generation Microsoft platform or to add Hosted UC to portfolio • Hosting Pack is not targeted for PBX replacements
