The power of the Queen -Queen Victoria had a lot more power then Elizabeth II has today, however the monarch had much less power than those centuries before it -instead of the queen making all of the decisions she was there to give advice to Parliament and the Prime Minister who were the elected officials who now made the call on day to day tasks
Cleanliness and Safety -At the time she took the thrown many were upset with the way the country was being run -this was because of the extremely harsh court rulings -a common sentence would be death or torture -In this era human rights were brought up for the first time -this era was the era of the industrial evolution as well -young children were being put to work and working conditions were not safe and unsanitary -in result there were good and clean working laws established during this era
Economic Situation -there was a wide range of people in terms of wealth -many suffered because of the effects of the industrial revolution - Work was hard to get because many people’s jobs were being taken over by machines and there was little the government could do about it
