E a r l y M a n • They hunted Giant Sloths , Saber -Tooth cats ,and elephant like mammoths , and mastodons and they are now extinct • They created fire which means forest fires started • They created houses using trees and mud so they lost lots of trees
Early Farmers • Farmers in areas of thick forests used slash-and-burn farming to prepare soil for farming this knocked down trees • They domesticated animals making the number of animals decrease They also ate their livestock which made the population of animals even lower • They also did irrigation by digging ditches from rivers to their fields this made them use extra dirt for houses
Mesopotamia wool • There animals were used for fur and other recourses such as milk ,wool, plowing ,and food. • Also they created the wheel .
Egypt • They used papyrus as paper to write on and it affected the Niles papyrus plants. • They got marble from the ground so they can make pyramids this affected the environment because they digged to the earth.
