ANCIENT EGYPT. LIFE. The people of ancient Egypt built mudbrick homes in villages and in the country. They grew some of their own food and traded in the villages for the food and goods they could not produce. Ordinary woman. They wore simple white linen dresses. They were not as good as men.

  2. LIFE • The people of ancient Egypt built mudbrick homes in villages and in the country. They grew some of their own food and traded in the villages for the food and goods they could not produce.

  3. Ordinary woman • They wore simple white linen dresses. • They were not as good as men. • They looked after their children all day long. • Cooked all the meals.

  4. PYRAMIDS • There are 138 pyramids discovered in Egypt as of 2008. Most were built as tombs for the country's pharaohs and their consorts during the old and Middle kingdom periods.

  5. Slave woman A lot of people in Egypt were slaves. Some of them came originally from Egypt often children sold into slavery by poor families.

  6. Great Pyramid • Its believed that more than 100000 men worked for 20 years to build Khufus Great Pyramid. Over two million blocks were used • . The rocks weighed about 400 men .

  8. Tutankhamen • Tutankhamun was only eight or nine when he became ruler of Eygpt. As King at such a young age, most of the decision-making was made by two senior figures, likely to have been Ay father of Nefertiti and Horemheb, an army commander.
