Couple of things about Archery Archery is a sport of pull, hold, focus, and aim. You have a big target about 10 metres in front of you with 2 sets of 5 colours.
The Target On the target, there are 2 sets of each colour (5) The white represents 1 and 2, the black represents 3 and 4, the blue represents 5 and 6, the red represents 7 and 8 and the yellow represents 9 and 10. Whoever has highest score at the end of 3 rounds is the winner.
Types of Bows There are a total of 7 different types of bows. Recurve Bow: Often used in the Olympics, this bow has a curve at the tips of the bow and is a great beginners bow. Reflex Bow: Sometimes confused with the recurve, the reflex bow curves completely away from the archer when unstrung. Self bow: This bow is just made from wood and is straight. Straight Bow: Nearly completely straight, made of laminated fiberglass or carbon. Longbow: Very similar to its medieval ancestors, they are made from wood and have a sight/aim and is of course, long. Composite Bow: This bow is made out of more than one material, usually a wooden core, molded fiberglass or carbon, then laminated Compound Bow: Not unlike the recurve, except for pullys that aid in efficiency and adjustable limbs.

Equipment The equipment you will need for Archery is of course the bow and the arrows, but you need a max of 3 arrows in an actual game. There are also more equipment you will need such as the arm guard, finger tab (depends what bow you’re using) and the stand, or for a stand you could use a cone.
