Visual Portion • Choose form of communication • text • picture • graph • Simple and clear • easy to read (18 point min) • emphasizes key points • Able to stand alone
Audio Portion • Speak loudly and clearly at a reasonable pace • Choose words carefully for each visual representation • Vocabulary should match audience
Coordination of Audio and Visual • Point to visual representation as you speak • Describe how to look for important info • Choose words ahead of time • Know transition into next slide • Do not apologize for bad slides
