Biodiversity of the grasslands • The grasslands are filled with organisms that are mostly herbivores and grasses. • The species of grass include tall grass, short grass, mixed grass, wild oats, rye grass, and buffalo grass. • Animal species include bison, antelope, birds, gophers, prairie dogs, coyotes, lynx, antelopes, falcons, and fox.
