  5. Strokes needed to complete a hole. • Score of all holes in the course • 3 over par = 3 over designed score. • Courses usually have a Par 72. Par3 5

  6. Par 3 – should make it in 3 shots. • Par 4 – should make it in 4 shots. • Par 5 – should make it in 5 shots. • Distance of each par: 3 < 4, 4 < 5 Par (continued)3 6
