About Movement for Green Revolution Movement for Green Revolution (MGR) is a non-profit , non governmental organization engaged in promoting the awareness on the usage of Renewable Energy particularly Solar Energy. This is a voluntary organization where any supporters and donors can join this movement, gain knowledge on Renewable Energy and start using and spread the benefits of using Renewable Energies. MGR relies on contributions from individual / Institutional supporters and foundation grants and does not dependent on Government Aid. www.mgrindia.org

  3. About Student Chapter of MGR The knowledge comes through education and practice and that is why MGR had chosen to create small groups of interested students in each of the institution. These groups called - “Student Chapter of MGR” will be trained on the Global Study on Solar Energy, Importance of the usage of Solar Energy, Practical training on Marketing, Installing, Maintaining and Servicing the Solar products. The Student Chapter in return will conduct various awareness programmes in their nearby locality and spread this message to the society also will identify some deserving Students community and help them for their study by providing the Solar Lanterns, solar street lights and solar community based systems for the empowerment. The trust provides an excellent Job Opportunities in Renewable Energy segment world wide to Students of the Chapter. The Trust has already need of about 600 engineers with confirmed jobs. www.mgrindia.org

Each MW of Plant requires minimum of 5 maintenance engineers. Therefore 15000 engineers are required in next 5 years.Similar Solar Policies is being announced by almost all the State Governments in India.Consumer market for Solar Energy is quickly growing as other FMCG market and it requires 10,000 Marketing Executives in next 3 years.
