SkyView2 concept demonstrator • Geospatial Information sharing demonstrator for AIM • Enable transition from AIS to AIM • Based on Open Geospatial principles • On-the-fly access to distributed information • Geo-referenced Aeronautical Information • Weather data • Airport and Runway infrastructure • 4D situational awareness • Towards 4D Trajectory Management • Towards the “intranet of ATM” The key = INTER-OPERABILITY

SkyView2 implementation • Based on LuciadMap • Experiment with concepts like : • Access data from any source • Airspace database : Navaids, Waypoints, Airways, FIR/UIR, ACC, Airspace reservations and ATFM Sectors • Spatial queries • Overlay raster/vector data in any format • e.g. GRIB weather • OGC WMS/WFS • 1000s of compatible servers worldwide • CRAM over WFS : server @ EC • WCS & CSW support planned 2008

SkyView2 and AIXM 5 • AIXM5 test version under construction • Local AIXM5 compliant files • Investigating AIXM5-SF over WFS 1.1 • Digital NOTAM support • Public release : Digital NOTAM over WFS • Internal release : Digital NOTAM in AIXM5 files • AMXS Airport Mapping • GRIB weather support • Evolution towards WXXM

SkyView2 Demonstration • Airspace database : spatial query on route with buffer • CRAM over WFS • Query real-time database at EC • Visualize open and closed routes in Time & FL interval • Satellite and Aerial imagery over WMS • Airport in AMXS overlaid with imagery • Read and visualize local AIXM5 compliant files • Read and visualize GRIB weather data
